WILDERNESS SURVIVAL – 3-Day Training with Practical Immersion – Friendly Format with Basic Skills Training

Come discover how to connect with nature and turn it into a trusted friend. You'll live a hands-on survival experience, pushing beyond the limits of everyday life by feeding yourself only with what nature provides. This course is perfect for anyone seeking to reconnect with nature, guided by an experienced instructor.First day
Participant welcome at 5:00 p.m. at the Kanatha-Aki Center. Introduction to the training and participant presentations. Initial meet and greet (meal not provided). Introduction to the concept of survival and overview of the three-day program. Campfire gathering and Native American philosophy session.Please bring a tent or hammock for your first night.
Second day :
Early morning wake-up, hot drink, and energy bar between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m., followed by a meal made from what you find in the forest. From 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. — Getting ready to depart. 10am Departure from the Center. Basic survival teachings (common edible plants, traps, water collection, movement in heavily wooded areas, etc.) Techniques for starting a fire. Overview of various shelter types. Choosing a bivouac site and constructing a shelter. Building traps and an introduction to hunting small animals. Return to camp, fire building, preparation of hunted game, and stargazing navigation.Third day :
Impressions de la nuit. Trap checking, hand fishing, and cooking your catch over an open fire. Knot tying, crossing techniques, and navigation skills. Back to the Center around 3 p.m. for rest and lunch, followed by a comprehensive survival overview and training wrap-up.
This training is offered to YOU to help you step out of your daily routine and usual comfort zone. We invite YOU to discover yourself in new situations. You can choose the difficulty level of your training based on what you decide to pack in your gear bag, because this is YOUR training.
Each of you will be able to live YOUR own experience, guided by a professional. GIVE YOURSELF A CHALLENGE. There’s nothing better to reconnect with nature. We look forward to helping you live YOUR new adventure.
