Our horseback riding lessons and beginner initiation in Val-des-Lacs are a perfect activity to get kids 4 years old and over-excited about horseback riding!

Important information

When should I reserve?

A day in advance is sufficient. We often have same-day availability.

How should we be dressed?

- A helmet (bombe) is mandatory for everyone (we can provide one for you).
- Comfortable clothing and closed shoes are required.

Is it english or western style horseback riding?

Western.

Can we do it if it is our first time?

Absolutely. Our excursion is perfect for beginners aged 4 and over.

Can I have my child with me on the horse?

No, we never put 2 people on a horse.

Horseback ride for kids (30 mins)

With our horseback riding lessons for children, children between the ages of 4 and 9 years old will have the chance to experience a 30 minutes ride in the forest on a small horse while a parent safely steers the reins.

Horseback riding - Initiation for kids (1h15)

Our horseback riding lessons are a perfect activity to get kids 5 years old and over-excited about horseback riding!


Know before you book :

  • For children between 4 and 9 years old.
  • Maximum 100lbs / 45kg.
  • Minimum 2 participants, maximum 4 participants (max 4 horses per tour).
  • No trotting or galloping. 1 participant per horse.
  • One parent per child must hold the reins of the little horse.


    • Know before you go:

  • Participants must wear long pants and closed toe shoes.

  • A helmet (bombe) is mandatory for everyone (we can provide one for you).

  • No drugs or alcohol allowed on site.

  • We are located 35 minutes from Mont-Tremblant, 40 minutes from Saint-Sauveur, and approx 2 hours from Montreal and Ottawa.
  • Activity Duration: Horseback Ride: 30 minutes. Children’s Introduction: Total duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes, including a 30-minute horseback ride.
